Friday: For the afternoon and evening fun at Lindsborg's local castle, Coronado Heights the sightseeing destination. The bluff is 275 feet above the valley floor. Geocaching is a popular activity on the Heights. Included in the recreation is three miles of biking (intermediary singletrack) and hiking trails. Have a picnic catered in the 1936 WPA castle or cook out on the numerous picnic areas. Flying kites is perfect as the sun starts to set, also lending a sublime time for bringing out the camera. Saturday: After breakfast/brunch take a free guided tour of Lindsborg. Keep your eyes open for the herd of Wild Dala horses that roam freely throughout the town! Advance reservations required. Spend the day in Riverside Park. Tour the 1898 Roller Mills and explore Heritage Square. Take a dip in the City Pool and experience Thor’s Revenge a 153’ long waterslide. Play tennis, horseshoes, sand volleyball or experience the new Tomte Playground. Tell stories, share photos and enjoy a catered meal under one of two shelter houses.
Plan a scavenger hunt around town. Locate various landmarks or prominent Lindsborg monuments and be sure to document your adventure with a camera!

Sunday: Attend a local church service. Then schedule the family a modified golf “tournament” at the Lindsborg Golf Course (LGC), a manicured 64 acre, 9 hole municipal course located southeast of Lindsborg at 1541 Svensk Road. Example: Hole one, hit the ball with a baseball bat. Hole two, all one handed. Hole three, use putter only. Golf cars are available for rent and catering for lunch can be brought in the clubhouse.
Try your hand at Swedish Folk dancing or clap along with an interactive Swedish dance performance.
Grab a cup of artisan roasted coffee from the Blacksmith Coffee Shop & Roastery or some pre-travel gelato from the White Peacock Tea and Coffee Company before heading out of town.
